Key Accountabilities:

  • Strategy: Collaborates within Process team to establish an effective framework that includes vision/strategy, governance, service delivery framework and standard processes over the end-to-end process, ensuring adherence to overall finance strategy.
  • Leadership: Takes responsibility for overall governance and documentation of processes. Monitors global compliance with established processes, and provides recommendations to improve overall process efficiency, standardization, and compliance, including technology advancements.
  • Change Management: Supports change management activities by documenting process changes and providing overall quality and assurance governance with support from the Quality Manager and Process Analyst(s).
  • Business Process Management: Applies knowledge acquired on business process modelling notations to document processes, develop BPM project plans and facilitate working groups throughout all phases, contributes towards solving process-related challenges, mapping out any existing processes in the organization and designing new ones towards achieving greater efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Governance: Takes responsibility for the governance of process execution, quality control and assurance by controlling, monitoring, measuring, executing, designing, and evaluating business processes. Designs and implements health metrics and KPIs to monitor data integrity, processes and systems and to identify problem areas and compliance issues. Benchmarks performance against industry best practices.
  • People Management: Monitors professional development and staff productivity to ensure training, professional development and resourcing needs are met. Actively participates in coaching, mentorship and succession planning for talent development.

 

Job Specific Knowledge / Experience:

•Minimum 10 years of strong finance experience in various specialities; generalist

•Minimum 5 years in a leadership role

 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

•An undergraduate degree in finance, accounting or business-related fields

•Trained in business process management

 

Skills:

•Strong leadership; highly analytical, data-driven and resourceful

•Ability to actively engage stakeholders, customers and staff to ensure processes are executed consistently

•Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations

•Ability to design and deliver transformational initiatives

•Excellent interpersonal communications and negotiation skills

•Proficient at communicating conclusions to leadership in concise manner

  • Interpersonal: Builds appropriate, constructive, and effective business relationships throughout the organization; uses diplomacy and tact; is approachable; communicates clearly, accurately, and consistently both verbally and in written matters. Employs the principles of active listening and encourages feedback from others.
