We are now seeking experienced Commissioning Engineer - Process

 

With the continued growth of the project, our team has ongoing construction opportunities based on site at the Oyu Tolgoi Mine in Mongolia. We are seeking a Commissioning Engineer - Process to support the electrical construction activities and support the civil electrical scope on site. This role is a FIFO role based on a 4 weeks on and 2 weeks off roster.

The purpose of this role is to provide for the delivery, technical quality, integrity and adequacy of all design engineering work as well as ensuring the design can be constructed in the safest, efficient and economic manner. The role is also responsible for providing technical support, methods, procedures, standards and quality control to meet the needs of the Project Execution Plan.

 

Please note that it is a requirement of this role that the successful candidate is a Mongolian Citizen.


Responsibilities: 

  • Plan and organise the commissioning activities within the commissioning team.
  • Ensure commissioning is conducted in compliance with the relevant Safety Management Plans.
  • Arrange and co-ordinate on-site vendor support
  • Prepare and submit Facility Handover Notices and Facility Acceptance Certificates complete with supporting documentation.
  • Transmit appropriate information to the Commissioning Manager and stakeholders at completion.
  • Identify the requirements for engineering input into procurement and construction contract packages
  • Ensure the implementation of the project engineering procedures.
  • Ensure adherence to safety
  • Understand the activities of engineering sub-consultants to the EPCM Engineer
  • Work within the systems and procedures to ensure engineering project work complies with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices
  • Maintain compliance with quality standards in all tasks
  • Arrange and approve information for Quality and other Audits

  • Engineering Degree in relevant field or in Mineral Processing Technology
  • Commissioning experience in an EPCM project is an advantage
