The position is located on the North Slope and requires a flexible rotational work schedule. Relocation assistance to Alaska is not provided; however, transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Room and meals are provided while in Prudhoe Bay.

In this role, the Document Control Admin will interact with Worley construction crew, clients, and management team to support the planning and technical execution of the project by ensuring construction documents and data are well organized and of the correct revision.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer Worley’s Project Data Management System
  • Receive, watermark, and organize construction drawings and contract documents
  • Implement a project document control procedure to ensure hard copy drawing packages are accounted for and revised as needed
  • Maintain a master document list of all in house and supplier documentation with revision dates, and approval status
  • Issue documents to the project team in accordance with this document distribution matrix
  • Maintaining, controlling, and posting client standards / specifications / drawings and procedures required for project execution
  • Processing documentation issued by the client 
  • Requesting, issuing, and tracking drawing requests for existing drawings from the client, or the client’s engineering contractor
  • Processing client submittals
  • Processing documentation reproduction requests 
  • Documenting and distributing project meeting minutes
  • Transmitting supplier / contractor / subcontractor data to supplier / contractor / subcontractor, client, and Project Team
  • Archiving and Closeout of projects
  • Maintaining and submitting system turnover packages
  • Printing wire and cable tags and assembling cable tab packages
  • May be requested to assist travel and payroll duties, as well as the preparation of invoice packets
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite & Adobe Acrobat

  • performance of the job in harsh environments with exposure to very cold temperatures and while wearing arctic gear
  • Lift 50 lbs from floor to waist x 2 with a 12 second interval,
  • Lift 20 lbs from floor to shoulder x 2 with a 12 second interval,
  • Lift 20 lbs to from floor to crown level x 2 with a 12 second interval,
  • Carry: Carry 50 lbs with two hands for a distance of 50 ft x 2 for a total of 100 ft (Allow a 60 second rest break between carry tests.).
  • Stair Climb: Climb up and down 15 steps x 20 for a total of 300 steps; Self-paced (Allow a 60 second break after walking up and down each 60 steps),
  • Stair Climb and Carry: While carrying 40 lbs in one hand and holding onto a railing with the other hand for safety, climb up and down 15 steps x 5 for a total of 75 steps. Self-paced, but continuous. (Allow a 60 second rest break after walking up and down each set of 15 steps)
  • Slanted Ladder: Climb up and down 10 rungs x 3 for a total of 30 rungs. (Self-paced, continuous)
  • Repetitive Kneel Test: Perform from standing, kneel on one knee, alternate from left to right knee, x 10 each knee,
  • Repetitive Stoop Test: Perform from standing position, bend forward at waist as far as possible without bending the knees with hands reaching toward the floor x 5, self-paced, but continuous,
  • Repetitive Squat Test: Perform a functional squat and stand x 5,
  • Twist and Flex Test: Perform from standing alternate toe touches x 10 to each side to assess ability to twist and flex the trunk repetitively.

 

  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in document control processes required
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working on the North Slope of Alaska required
  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required
  • Valid driver’s license and the ability to be covered by Worley’s auto insurer required
  • Alaska Residents are preferred
  • Experience with ConocoPhillips Alaska is preferred
