1. Develop & Implement environment, health and safety policies and procedures at the SADARA.
2. Managing the operational compliance of EHS responsibilities.
3. Develop and implement safety, risk and training systems.
4. Promote EHS performance improvement.
5. Liaising with mine and refinery management regarding Environment, health & safety initiatives and concerns.
6. Conducting audits and incident investigations.
7. Lead the investigations of serious accidents or incidents having the potential for serious consequences facilitate root cause analysis evaluation.
8. Audit contractor compliance, training, and record keeping.
9. Coordinate the implementation of any Contractor Safety Programs.
10. Participate in the review and approval of Safety Health and Environmental Action Plans and attend pre-bid and pre-job conferences.
11. Co-ordination and supervision of EHS activities on site.
12. Lead, develop and monitor performance of the mine and refinery EHS team.
13. Provide guidance and training in EHS matters to SADARA Management.
1. Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Safety.
2. Minimum 15 years’ experience in Refinery or Petrochemical Plant Environmental Health and Safety.
3. Strong supervisory background with sound practical experience in multi-national culture.
4. English proficiency: Fluent both in speaking and writing.
