The Role:
Due to growth we are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Senior and/or Lead Instrumentation Engineers & Senior and/or Lead Electrical Engineers to join our high performing Technical Services team. In these challenging and diverse roles, you will have the opportunity to do incredible things working on a variety of large Engineering & Construction, Mining, Minerals & Metals and Hydrocarbons projects. You’ll share knowledge and experience with colleagues around the world and be encouraged to think beyond your job description whilst harnessing new technology and practices.

Responsibilities will include:
- Advise on design integrity issues relating to Discipline engineering
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with applicable codes and standards & legislations and have a good working knowledge of analytical techniques used in the industry
- Co-ordinate project design activities within the section to ensure the achievement of quality, completion and profit objectives
- Supervise the work of Design Engineers and drafting staff to ensure compliance with technical standards
- Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance systems in place
- Specification and procurement of Electrical Equipment
About You:
To be considered for these roles it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Australian recognized Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
- Registration: Charted Engineer, RPEQ for QLD
- Experience with equipment design, selection, specification and procurement activities in collaboration with designers
- Hydrocarbons Experience, experience Upstream, Midstream and downstream facilities, specifically FEED and Detail Design
- Experience with Mining Minerals and Metals facilities (Surface and Underground) in the various phases of a project life cycle (Concept, FEED, Detail Design, Installations and Commissioning)
- Experience with engineering and design on HV, MV and LV designs and installations and associated equipment specification as well as Power distribution systems analysis
- Experience in DCS & SIS Packages, Fire & Gas packages, CCTV packages, Sizing & Procurement of Instrumentation, sizing and procurement of actuated valves & control valves
- Hazardous Area Competency in Equipment specification, selection, Design and Classification
- Knowledge of applicable Codes / Standards and Legislation
