Role Outline/ Responsibilities | Reporting into the Finance Business Partner for the Onshore Business Unit (‘BU’), we seek an ambitious candidate who will support the Onshore Management team with quality management reports and analysis to assist in accurate decision making and to build the business going forward. This role will support the BU VP and Finance Business Partner on all aspects of budgeting, quarterly forecasting and monthly group reporting of results for the BU. The FP&A Manager will ensure timely, accurate and quality reporting for the Onshore BU. They will be responsible for investigation, analysis and interpretation of the monthly BU results liaising with BU Project Accounting Manager and BU FBP as required. The FPA Manager will lead a small team who will be responsible for the Onshore BU consolidation but also the London hub budgets, forecasts and actuals reporting. The FPA Manager will lead and assist in ad-hoc financial analysis support that is required by the FBP and BU Management team, supporting when necessary across all countries in the BU. They will support scenario modelling for BU results and overheads to drive the BU meet its financial targets.
The FPA Manager will also work with the other UK FPA Managers in the UK to ensure consistency and alignment in ways of working. THE FPA Manager will be responsible for: · Supporting FBP to develop timelines and processes for the BU to meet the deadlines and expectations for budget, quarterly and monthly reporting as set by UNCE Region and Group · Preparation of the consolidated month end reporting pack for Onshore BU, which will include interrogation, support and analysis with the individual country Finance Managers as required. Further they will be responsible for ensuring the London hub element of the BU is also analysed and prepared. The Onshore FPA Manager will ensure adequate data and understanding of the individual country results is completed in advance of of the monthly BU review with Regional Management. Ensure all reports issued to management are of high quality and provide insightful analysis. · Analyse and interpret management reporting results through collaboration with stakeholders (incl. BU PAM and in-country Finance Managers), tracking performance against all relevant KPIs. · Provide support and analysis to the BU FBP on reviewing and managing the results of the individual countries within the BU and assist in country Finance Managers as required · Understanding impact and risk to the BU forecast of not meeting key business drivers and changes to market conditions. Track probability of identified business strengths and weaknesses on forecast result. · Develop and implement effective reporting and analysis to improve understanding of actuals and forecast performance, to drive future financial performance · Liaison with BU Project Managers and the BU PA Manager regarding operational issues and for budget and reforecast preparation to ensure all project risks and opportunities are accurately captured for forecasts and budgets · Provide information, advice and assistance to the management team on ad-hoc enquiries and assist wider UK Finance team on ad-hoc projects/requests as they arise · Identify effective overhead and working capital reporting/analysis for the London Hub and for the wider BU to drive productivity · Create and maintain a positive and collaborative working environment that works on continuous improvement and support the Senior UK Finance team members to deliver the functional objectives

Qualifications & Skill Attributes | · Excellent analytical accounting skills, attention to detail and essential knowledge of revenue recognition and project accounting · Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with 3-5 years’ experience in a relevant role, ideally within international corporate environment is preferred
