Why Does This Position Exist? 

 

Implement Global Business Systems (Oracle e Business suite) GBS across for Non-GBS Locations Project


 


 



 

Key Accountabilities:

 

The key role of the GBS Functional Lead is to lead the respective functional stream in the successful implementation of Oracle eBusiness Suite across 17 countries.  This includes leading, facilitating and enabling their functional counterpart within each location during the transition from current processes into the GBS environment. The GBS Functional Lead will also work closely with the relevant GBS technical BA to ensure a successful transition with minimal disruption to the location BAU operations.

 

Business Process Design:

 

  • Analysis and documentation of current functional processes, and mapping to future processes including exceptions to the standard processes;
  • Identification of and provide solutions for additional local statutory requirements that must be incorporated into the standard design
  • Provide input to OCM on Change Impact Assessment.

 

Transition support

Lead business users with data conversion, mapping and cleansing activities

 

  • Lead and organise business users with end user acceptance testing;
  • Assist the Training Lead and provide input into end user training to support the future state process;
  • Performing end user training;
  • Support the OCM Manager to determine functional processes impacts to people;
  • Perform cutover and support activities to implement, stabilise and embed the process changes into BAU;
  • Supporting business users during cutover and stabilisation.

 

Project Management:

  • Provide input into project management deliverables such as schedule, status reporting, risks, scope change management and cost/benefits;
  •      
  • Contribute to Risk and Issues Logs; identify and escalate key risk and issues as required so they are appropriately addressed.

 

 

Job Specific Knowledge / Experience:

 

 

  • Experience in global roll-outs of e Business Suite (EBS)
  • Strong understanding of applicable functional EBS  processes:

 

  Finance

·         Accounts payable supplier invoices

·         Contingent worker invoices and payment

·         iExpense report entry, approval and payment

·         Cash management and bank account reconciliation

·         Accounts receivable

·         Fixed assets

·         GL reconciliations

·         Accruals, provisions and contingencies

·         Weekly period (PA) and monthly (GL) closings

·         Interfaces with Hyperion (outgoing)

 

Project commercials and accounting

·         Set up proposals

·         Set up projects

·         WBS set up

·         Bill rate set up and administration

·         IEWO and Invoicing

·         Time recording

·         Expenses

·         Ecosys interface

·         Project billing

·         Project costing

·         Revenue generation

 

  • Experience performing end user training highly regarded
  • Experience with data migration highly regarded
  • Ability to maintain confidential information
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Flexible Working Arrangements:

 

 

  • Global Position: Requirement to work flexibly based on project delivery requirements
  • Position Location: India
  • FTE: 6 Full Time Positions ( 2 x Projects, 2 x Finance Functional Leads)
  • Remote Working: Project team will be office based and located in Mumbai, remote working may be required on an as needed basis
  • Travel Requirements: Multiple international travel required by project, up to 3 weeks per trip deemed as necessary.
