Purpose:
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer and based in any one of our global IT hubs your primary responsibility will be to provide strategic and operational security expertise, leading Worley’s Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC), our Incident Response program, as well as leading and further developing Worley’s Threat Hunting and Threat Intelligence programs, maintaining accountability for IT security operations and defining and maintaining measurable security metrics and KPIs.
Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the management and delivery of the outsourced Managed Security Service Program (MSSP).
- Define and maintain Security operations metrics and KPIs
- Leading Worley’s 24/7/365 Cyber Security Operations Center including a global team with presence in all regions
- Develop and maintain Incident Response standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Leading Worley’s Threat Hunting and Intelligence programs
- Highlighting emerging threats, and developing resource investments to help mitigate risks
- Oversee table-top exercises to further develop our incident response program
- Provide leadership and expertise to further develop email security policies
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Overall 10+ years of experience in Information Security, including large (IT) security projects, assessments and audits
- Previous experience leading a Cyber Security Operations Center for a global organization
- Security industry certifications preferred
- Experience in Oil and Gas industry a plus
- Managing and motivating virtual and global teams where some members may have dual roles
- Successful track record working in a multinational environment with 24/7 operation across different time zones
- Experience with management of significant change in the technical domain and senior stakeholder engagement of executives from a non-IT background, providing sound advice and business cases for change
- Deep domain knowledge of Security architecture, frameworks and the major global security vendors’ strengths and weaknesses. ISO27001 and NIST Cyber Security Frameworks
- Line management of both in-house and outsourced IT Security teams
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Degree qualified in a relevant IT discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciple with significant working experience in the technical IT Security domain.
