Ironworkers Journeypersons and Apprentices
To work at our K+S Cogen Potash Mine in Regina, Saskatchewan.
- SALARY: $34.30 - $49.00
- BENEFITS: 3% Pension & 3% RRSP + CLAC Benefits
- OVERTIME: After 8 hours a day
- TRAVEL: Travel allowance provided
- ACCOMMODATIONS: LOA $160.00/Per Day
- START DATE: April May 14, 2025
- HOURS PER DAY: 10
- PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)
- SHIFT: 14&7
- DURATION: 6 Months +
Responsibilities:
- Ornamental work and pre-cast structures on a variety of projects
- Studies blueprints, drawing and specifications to determine the lay out of work
- Position steel units, align holes and insert temporary bolts while checking alignments and joining steel parts using simple torque and hand wrenches
- Rigging - Attach cables from a crane and direct crane operators with hand signals and/or radio
- Unload and stack steel units so each piece can be hoisted as needed
- Know, understand, and operate grinders safely in accordance with safe work practices and procedures
- Ability to recognize spool hoisting point and utilize proper rigging techniques and signals while working in a fast-paced environment
- May perform other duties as assigned

Pay: $34.30-$49.00 per hour

Requirements:
- Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprenticeship Ironworkers ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
- Must have experience working at heights
- Must be willing to attend safety training (paid by WorleyCord): CSTS, H2S, WHMIS2015, EWP, Fall Protection, Confined Space
- Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills written and verbal
- Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions
