Work description:
There are exciting times at Worley, new projects and customers coming in and the 20/21 growth plan is ongoing. That's why we are looking for new colleagues for our Process team. At Worley all engineering disciplines are represented to run EPCM projects.
You will be part of our Process department and you will work within all project phases from feasibility studies to execution phase. Participates in the design of a process unit, including establishing process design basis, development of process options and optimization of selected design.
Performs routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision; work is reviewed for adequacy and accuracy. As most of the projects are executed close to our Customers sites, there is constantly feedback between design and execution.
 
Among other tasks, you will:
  • Be a part of the investment process by making decisions, which involves process design, equipment specifications, energy analyses, material balances, safety analyses, technical reports etc.
  • Execute projects including procurement of equipment, process control, tests, etc.
  • Work with coordination, planning and reporting of project progress.
To succeed in this role, we see that you have:
  • Bachelor/master’s degree in chemical engineering, with a focus on process, energy, flow technology etc.
Good knowledge in MS Office will be needed as well as good communication skills in English.
It is meritorious with experience in the process, paper industry, nuclear power or refinery and experience working in Aspen/HYSYS or other process simulation tool.
You have a structured, curious and prestigeless personality. You are striving for the best solution. The role is wide and you handle many different tasks and people, this is something you enjoy and are comfortable with. Being a team player is important, but when needed, you have no hesitation in taking the team leader role.
