Cord Is seeking 3 Maintenance Planners to work with our growing project team near Fort Saskatchewan, AB.
Position 1: Specializes in E&I
Position 2: Specializes in Rotating Equipment
Position 3: Specializes in Mechanical (Piping/Millwright)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Write preventative maintenance procedures from scratch
- Ability to visualize system improvements
- Maintain and improve the maintenance planning and scheduling process in work order system
- Detailed planning, scheduling and coordination of ongoing maintenance jobs and projects needed to conduct the relevant repair, preventative and predictive activities of the facility and its equipment
- Planning, scheduling and coordination of Worley Industrial work as well as other onsite contractors
- Collaborate with supervisors to schedule manpower and resources
- Maintains equipment information and repair files
- Assist and backup Stores duties for purchasing of all necessary parts, equipment, services and documentation to perform the maintenance work
- Assist with developing applicable maintenance procedures and job hazard analysis process
- Work in a team setting with Maintenance and Operations personnel in the planning process
- Participate in the plant safety, health and environmental programs
Qualifications:
Position 1 (E&I): Journeyman Electrician and Instrumentation background
Position 2 (Rotating Equipment): Journeyman Millwright or Mechanical Engineering background
Position 3 (Mechanical): Journeyman Millwright or Journeyman Pipefitter background
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a maintenance planner or coordinator.
- Ability to work independently
- Experience in Maximo or SAP is required
- Proficient in Microsoft office Suite
- Ability to bring forward relevant experience from past work in order to contribute to the writing of maintenance procedures.
- Experience in maintenance, turnaround and shutdown work
- Knowledge of maintenance techniques and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership and decision-making skills.
- Willing to support and work in a team environment.
- Safety conscious individual who understands and demonstrates safe work practices.
