Purpose:
To support new and on-going nuclear safety analysis work for our Canadian nuclear clients/facilities.
Responsibilities:
As a nuclear safety and licensing technical specialist/analyst, you will be expected to:
- Prepare nuclear safety analysis/assessments/calculations and other technical deliverables related to areas given below;
- Provide specific technical expertise in the areas given below;
- Interface with client stakeholders to review deliverables and participate in client project meetings;
- Be familiar with Canadian nuclear codes and standards;
- Be familiar with Canadian nuclear regulatory requirements;
- Participate in internal/client meetings.
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
Candidates deemed suitable would be familiar in performing analysis, assessments, calculations and/or have technical expertise in any of the following areas, but not limited to:
- Thermal Hydraulic Analysis Services;
- Reactor Physics Analysis Services;
- Fuel Management Services;
- Fuel and Fuel Channel Analysis Services;
- Fuel and Fuel Channel, Fitness for Service, Assessment Services;
- Probabilistic Safety Assessment Services;
- Analysis of Reactor Operating Issues Services;
- Nuclear Regulatory Program Services;
- Safety Analysis Integration Services;
- Methodology and Code Development / Maintenance Services;
- Corporate Emergency;
- Accident Management Services;
- REGDOC-2.4.1 Compliant Safety Analysis and related Support Services;
- Heat Transport System (HTS) Aging Analyses and related Support Services;
- Nuclear Waste Management Safety Analysis/Assessment and related Support Services (i.e. DGR and Safe Storage Projects).
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- B.Eng, BScs or Nuclear Physics
