Worley is currently looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to be part of our team to manage Engineering multi-discipline technical quality, safety in design, interfaces, digital design delivery, schedule, and progress, on a project in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Establish engineering requirements and source the necessary resources for major projects

Ensure engineering systems and procedures are developed and successfully rolled out for all major projects

Ensure effective coordination between the engineering disciplines

Provide HSE leadership to the engineering teams

Responsible for ensuring the competency of engineering teams
Training and development of engineering staff -
Coordination of the engineering team. This includes addressing performance shortfalls with supervisors and rewarding good performance

Drive communication relating to technical matters

Ensure that technical integrity is not being compromised to meet schedules across the project

Promote collaboration with other functional groups and stakeholders on engineering matters.

Identify and implement additional technical peer reviews as necessary to ensure the technical integrity of the location

Technical peer reviews are conducted in accordance with the location plan.

Ensure quality of the engineering work is maintained

Ensure the project team is working within the provisions and guidelines of the location/project

Appropriate design checks are undertaken and competent people are conducting checking activities
-
Ensure Quality Audit findings relating to Engineering are addressed and findings and action requests are closed
Planning/Resourcing:

Coordinate technical input to schedule development and approves technical component

Review discipline man-hour estimates and consolidate into an overall engineering estimate or change request.

Assist the project and location management in controlling and monitoring engineering performance against budget and schedule

Coordinate with the location engineering function to secure necessary project resources.
Technical Competency and Skill:

Ensure the individual and collective engineering team competency/skills are appropriate

Organizing technical and work process training to address deficiencies

Ensure that coaching of less experienced personnel is taking place within the engineering team
Document and Data Management:

Define internal location data management requirements (internally developed and supplier)

Ensure Technical data is managed in accordance with location and customer requirements

Ensure appropriate WorleyParsons approved document management systems and work processes are utilized.

Degree qualified with minimum 15 years relevant experience including experience as an Engineering Manager in the oil and gas industry

Aramco experience preferred
-
Contractor design coordination/management experience
-
Previous Middle East experience is strongly preferred
