About the role

  • Work as the Resident Technical Officer to our LTA projects and To assist RE & SRE to monitor all site activities, to collect facts and information pertaining to site work, keeping record of all site activities and all other site information. Prepare daily report at regular interval and or as directed.
  • Supervise all construction activities and ensure compliance to all plans/drawings, method of statements / Risk Assessment and specifications.
  • Willing to work on rotation shifts

Responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure that Contractor and their subcontractors comply with client’s safety requirement, and safety checklists are followed.
  • Report to Senior Resident Engineer (SRE)/ Resident Engineer (RE) of any incident, including near-misses.
  • Report any non-compliance to RE and Qualified Person Supervision (QPS).
  • Reject poor quality of works at site and inform RE to raise non-conformance notice.
  • Assist RE to manage and maintain records and documentation on field or site changes.
  • Assist RE to monitor adherence to construction schedule.
  • Prepare daily/shift progress reports and any other reports, as per client’s requirement.
  • Verify contractor’s daily manpower and resource log.
  • Report to RE of daily site activities and progress.
  • Attend daily toolbox meetings, safety inspections, site construction workshops and any other meetings as requested by RE.

Experience in the following areas will be additional advantage:

  • Supervision of installation and monitoring instruments.
  • Concrete technology, inspection, quality control and quality assurance procedures related to the production of high quality precast concrete products.

About You

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering (Civil / Structural), Engineering or National Certificate in Construction Supervision (NCCS) or equivalent and shall be accredited by JAC of IES/ACES as QSS.
  • Required Skill(s): 3 years relevant LTA project experience – Civil contracts (MRT / Underground / deep excavation works)
