Reports: Process Manage, Project reporting to the lead process engineer 

Main Purpose of Job:

14. Works independently at an advanced level completing a wide variety of assignments through the application of advanced engineering theories, techniques, and practices.
14. May provide discipline supervision for one larger or one or more smaller projects.

Key Responsibilities/ Accountabilities:

14. Supports proposals by developing the process engineering execution strategy, estimating costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.
14. Ensures process engineering technical work and team activities meet all health, safety, environmental, and security requirements.
14. May provide or lead on-site support for construction, commissioning, or turn over.
14. Gathers data from multiple sources and prepares engineering studies, analyses, calculations, etc. Crafts recommendations and creates final documentation.
14. Supports the standardization of equipment specifications, drawings, and document templates. Contributes to the understanding of technical knowledge, legal requirements, and customer specifications whenever viable and lawful.

Essential Skills/Experience:

14. Skills:

• Skilled in project discipline leadership. Has a strong background in process engineering work, and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices.
• Well versed in process engineering setup, instituting work processes, monitoring a team, producing deliverables, project controls, and project closeout. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
• Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint. Can navigate intranet pages, conduct searches, and retrieve information.

14. Experience:

• Experience in risk management, quality, procurement, or construction execution. Adapt in Data Centric Engineering.
• The senior process engineer must have worked in one or two refinery units contributing to the petrol and/or diesel pool preferable in a coal to liquid refinery.
