Essential Skills/Experience
•Technical Skills in Designing and Drafting of buildings, structures and foundations associated with Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Facilities.
•Familiar with Basic Design and Drafting Standards.
•Expert user of 2D and 3D Drafting Softwares such as AutoCad, Microstation
•User of MS Office Softwares.
•Knowledge in PDS, X-Steel and other 3D modelling softwares
•Recent experience in Oil and Gas and Solid Waste Handling Facilities.
Specific Accountabilities
•Prepare designs, sketches and production of all types of Architectural, Civil and Structural GA and detailed drawings.
•Prepare bill of quantities and materials take-off list.
•Checking and approving of drawings prior to submission for costumers review.
•Checking and approving of bill of quantities and MTO list prior to submission for costumers review
•Supervision and coordination of all Architectural, Civil and Structural designing and drafting works within assigned projects.
•Delegates designing and drafting works to designers and draftsmen within the discipline.
•Coordinate with Senior and Lead Discipline Engineers for all Design and Drafting supports required for assigned projects.
•Must be able to perform site visits & inspections, data gathering activities and technical evaluations that are relevant to assigned tasks and works.
•Must be able to complete the assigned tasks and deliverables within the allotted budget and schedule.
•Must have supervisory skills to manage all discipline design and drafting works for the assigned projects.
•Responsible for the overall production and quality of all drawings, BOQ, MTO lists and other design deliverables.
•Assist in the preparation of technical details for quotations, contract documentation and technical specifications.
•Liaise with suppliers, clients, consultants or commissioning engineers concerning the design, installation or construction and commissioning of assigned work.
•Participate in the planning of projects as required.
•Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of Worley Quality Assurance system.
•Safety – Responsible for personal safety and safe working practices within Worley and costumers work places. Understand and follow basic OH&S procedures.
•Minimum 15 years total working experience.
•At least 10 years experience in design and drafting works, preferably in Hydrocarbon facilities
•Minimum 5 years experience as Senior/Lead Designer
•At least 5 years experience in Architectural design and drafting works for infrastructure projects.
•Familiar with International codes and standards such as ACI, AISC, BS, UBC/IBC, etc that are relevant to design and drafting works.
•Familiar with basic International Design and Drafting standards.
•Expert user of AutoCad and Microstation softwares
•Knowledge in PDS, PDMS, X-Steel and other 3D Modelling softwares is an advantage, but not essential.
•Overseas experience in the Middle East is an advantage, but not essential.
