HSE Advisor Underground

Together, we are a leading global provider of professional project and asset services in the energy, chemicals and resources sectors. We have almost 60,000 amazing people in around 60 countries across the world covering the full lifecycle, from creating new assets to sustaining and enhancing operating assets for our customers.
With the continued growth of the project, our team has ongoing construction opportunities based on site at the Oyu Tolgoi Mine in Mongolia. We are now seeking HSE Advisor Underground. This role is based on site at Oyu Tolgoi Mine for 4 weeks on, 2 weeks off.
Please note that it is a requirement of this role that the successful candidate is a Mongolian Citizen.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor compliance with project HSE standards;
- Prepare, issue and maintain HSE records and data as required;
- Assist with risk assessments and JHA's, including working with contractor teams to reduce / eliminate risks associated with tasks;
- Assist line managers with incident reports and investigations to support risk reduction efforts;
- Participate in Audits and inspections, to ensure compliance with OT HSE standards and relevant legislation in assigned areas.
Knowledge includes:
- 3 - 5 years professional experience, preferably in the mining or construction industry;
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mongolian are mandatory.
- Good computer literacy skills with working knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
