The Project


FGP/WPMP is a world-class mega project employing technologies to increase capacity and reliability and is located in Tengiz, western Kazakhstan.  Tengiz is the world's deepest operating super-giant oil field, with the top of the reservoir at about 12,000 feet (3,657 m) below ground. Chevron holds a 50 percent interest in Tengizchevroil (TCO), which operates the field.

WorleyParsons, Fluor, KazGiproNefteTrans Engineering Company (KGNT), and Kazakh Institute of Oil and Gas (KING) are partnering for the onshore component of the engagement which include all locations inside Kazakhstan (KPJV). 

Estimated to extend into 2020, the scope of the project comprises Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Engineering Procurement Construction Management (EPCM). 

The facilities will be designed to produce an additional 12 MMTY of stabilized oil and 960 MMSCFD of dehydrated gas for re-injection through injection facilities (3GI).The project is modularized to the greatest extent practical utilizing global and Kazakhstani fabrication yards. Modules with an approximate weight of 1800 tons will be fabricated, assembled, pre-commissioned at fabrication yards before transport to site. 

The full scope of facilities includes.

  • Tie-ins to existing facilities.
  •  (3GP) 3rd Generation Plant, Oil & Gas Processing facilities, Utilities and Pipe rack.
  • Pressure Boost Facility.
  •  (3GI) 3rd Generation Injection, Sour Gas Injection Utilities, Plant Islands, Flare and Reception area.
  • Production multi well pads (MWP)
  • Gathering and pipelines network.
  • Power generation and distribution
  • Infrastructure and Offsite Facilities.  
  • Crude storage and handling.

Reporting to the KPJV Site HR Manager, this position is a member of the KPJV Tengiz HR team, as a Supervisor in an HR Generalist capacity.


·         Provide supervision to HR Specialists.

·         Oversee the seamless HR administration of mobilization and demobilization of KPJV Tengiz personnel.

·         Oversee training to KPJV new starters and provide ongoing assistance in relation to timesheet processes, (covering overtime, timesheet and leave submissions) as required.

·         Ensure the timely processing of time sheets and overtime requests for KPJV Tengiz personnel.  Liaise with individuals and supervisors if deadlines are not met.

·         Audit timesheet and overtime system instruction / training provided to KPJV new hires.

·         Provide support and advice to KPJV personnel and their Line Managers on HR policies and procedures related to site HR operations.

·         Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance.

·         Create and revise KPJV HR policies applicable for site operations.

·         Audit electronic HR personnel files for required contents.

·         Audit KPJV and Project ‘deactivations’ after project demobilizations.

·         Audit and ensure all data entry in the system is correct.

·         Audit the KPJV rotational schedule for accuracy and follow up as required.

·         Ensure the secure storage and filing of confidential of HR documentation.

·         Lead the collection, inventory and shipment of personal effects, (from offices and camp rooms due to project demobilization).

·         Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all HR clients.

·         Maintain confidentiality.

·         Create HR reports and provide analytics.

·         Additional HR projects as assigned.


Work schedule: 28 days on and 28 days off, 78 hours per week, (12 hours per day Monday – Saturday (0700-1900), and 6 hours (0700-1300) including one-hour paid lunch time.

 

Required:

·         Human Resources working experience in a supervisory capacity

·         Experience leading and developing a (small) team.

·         Able to communicate professionally in a business environment (written and verbal) in Russian and English.

·         Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Highly effective presentation skills, able to prepare presentations and communicate in front of moderate sized groups with confidence.

·         Proven ability working in a collaborative environment with all levels of personnel.

·         Excellent customer service skills.

·         Excellent interpersonal skills.

·         High level of attention to detail.

·         Results focused; able to multi-task and able to complete tasks with strict deadlines.

Preferred:

 

  • Working knowledge of The Labour Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan in relation to work hours, overtime, rest time and rotation schedules.
  • Higher education specializing in Human Resources.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Visio and Access.
  • Able to communicate professionally in a business environment (written and verbal) in Kazakh.
