We have an opportunity for a Consultant to join our Asia Pacific LNG Line, located in Singapore.
LNG Team Lead Consultant
Responsible for leading project teams under the oversight of the assignment Business Lead. A key part of this role facilitates all LNG related projects, compliance to Worley processes and to ensure projects are delivered to customers satisfaction.
As a senior member of the assignment team, this role will be responsible for coaching and mentoring of more junior team members, contributing to and working on internal projects focused on the “Worley way”. Applies advanced and diversified knowledge of a practice to the completion of projects/assignments of major complexity; responsible for assignments which are broad in nature, requiring originality and ingenuity.
The focus of this role is on assisting our client’s delivery capital LNG and new energy projects. The nature of the business that the role will primarily develop, lead and execute includes:
· Support detailed engineering and FEED stage LNG projects with process and engineering expertise
· Front end studies, including strategic advice and feasibility studies
· Structuring bids and proposals
· Leveraging Worley’s High Value centers (GID) in India to ensure value proposition to clients
Notwithstanding this focus, it will be significantly advantageous if the candidate has knowledge and capability across Worley’s other service lines, including strategy, business case, procurement strategy, risk, cost estimating, programming and operations improvement. It is expected that the candidate will have sufficient versatility to work across the business.
The Role will be supported by a team of highly accomplished technical experts across Worley and be expected to be an accomplished expert is their own field.
Key Objectives and Accountabilities:
· Winning work for FEED, Feasibility and detailed engineering work
· Drives to expand the scope of Assignment work with clients
· Leads cross functional teams to deliver on key responsibilities in an assignment under tight deadlines
· Builds and nurtures trust-based relationships with clients and turns opportunities into signed work
· Guides the team and the client through problem analysis
· Produces high-quality reports to the clients that clearly articulates findings and recommendations
· Develop and publish papers through industry media
· Produce plans and budgets relating to assignment management and delegate responsibilities to assignment team as appropriate to deliver assignment outcomes
· Ensures financial outcomes of assignments are achieved through management of scope variations, invoicing and managing the team to deliver to budget
· Mentor and coach assignment delivery team
· Proactively contribute to the culture of the business and participates in activities to drive employee engagement
· Supports the delivery of HSE initiatives across the business
· Skills and Competencies Required
· Strong LNG related process and engineering skills
· Proven independent business identification and business winning skills
· Strong skills in assignment delivery
· Demonstrated client network

· Proven experience in dealing with senior people in organisations

Qualifications & Experience
· A recognized engineering degree in the relevant discipline or equivalent
· Candidates with a process engineering and engineering manager or process lead for one major LNG project will be an advantage
· Has minimum 15 years of experience in LNG projects and has been involved in client facing roles with some O&M experience.
Preferred:
- Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical or process or hydrocarbons
- Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline; management, project management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent.
- Experience in providing project and business solutions to clients in the infrastructure and resources sectors highly preferable.
