Project Analyst (Transition)
About the Project Analyst role:
In this project management heavy role, you will be responsible for the transition work of L2 and L3 work from location finance services into the Shared Service Centre.
Key Responsibilities :
- Uses appropriate Project Management Methodology to assist in project managing transition implementations. This will include:
- Overall responsibility to assist in coordinating the follow through of plan, schedule and deliver implementations to achieve business benefits according to agreed quality, timelines, scope and budget ensuring project deliverables meet requirements;
- Work closely with Product Team’s Focal/PIC in SSC to deliver Product-based transitions according to agreed schedule, budget and timelines;
- Interface as delegated with the Location Finance Teams nominated Person in Charge (PIC) for the successful delivery of transaction activities across to SSC including Knowledge Transfer (KT), UAT of LFS systems, Work shadowing and final sign-off for Go Live at SSC;
- Prepare, update and review all required standard transition documents and Project presentation packs across the full lifecycle of tasks and projects, start with preparation of project initiation documents including scope definition via Transition Service Master Table (TSMT), system level identification, project timetables, and effort estimates;
- To undertake delegated Stakeholder engagement with defined task and responsibilities from Transition Project Engineer/Transition Manager;
- Assist to proactively Track project progress, completing project status reports and where applicable, highlight delays and background.
- Assist to update and maintain Risk and Issues Logs; identify and escalate key issues as required so they are appropriately discussed and addressed.
- Interface effectively with project team(s) consisting of L3 Managers, systems specialists, functional SMEs, QA/testing and functional resources, including GBS and IT parties when required.
- Where applicable – to communicate a consistent message about the project in alignment with the communication plan.
- Participate in Providing feedback to the Change Management team when required
- Participate in quality management reviews to ensure adherence to all quality management plans and standards Internally within the SSC Transition Team.
- Assist the SSC Product SMEs as delegated by Transition Project. Engineer/Transition Manager to develop the transition turnover documentation to successfully moving the developed solution to the production environment.
- Assist the Product SMEs where required and as delegated to develop the integrated test plans across all testing spectrums (e.g., unit, system, performance, integrated, user acceptance, etc.).
To succeed in the Project Analyst role, you will need to analyze and understand documents functional and system requirements, mapping relationships and dependencies between functional elements and identify critical path activities.
Key Requirements :
- Degree in Accountancy, Business Management and/or equivalent education and experience.
- At least 2-3years of experience in working with SSC environment/multinational company.
- This role requires someone with basic understanding of Project Management and good communication skills to perform their duties successfully as migrations are complex projects that require expert management skills to facilitate.
- Requires good attention to detail to spot slight changes in a transition processes and problem-solving skills to be involve in developing quick and effective solutions to transition management challenges, such as delays in completion of task against actual Transition framework timelines.
- Experience in prior operational roles within the SSC Products Teams desirable - to ensure easy grasping of understanding to the interdependencies, the SLAS and the risk/quality technical solution for SSC in a live environment for the last two years.
- Oracle-based GBS and Blackline knowledge of the systems being used at SSC.
- Experience in analysis, design and development or updating of Process flow diagrams and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Incorporates customer satisfaction tasks and measurements in project methodology.
- Has consistently delivered on objectives while increasing/improving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to easily understand and articulate the approach and processes aligned to the Standard Transition framework. Assist to successfully define, implement, and maintain project process guidance related to SSC transitions.
- Ability to provide management leadership to Product resources to meet deadlines and objectives.
- Ability to derive and develop technical solutions to where its required for methods, procedures, and standards with the Product SMEs to use during the project execution
- Focus and detailed to review project deliverables for completeness, quality, and compliance with established project standards.
- Responsible in reviewing and ensuring the combined Transition Team (Products and Transition members) are finalizing any documentation created as part of transition and ensure that knowledge is captured and transferred timely and successfully.
