About the Salesforce Developer role:
In this development heavy role, you will be working closely with the business owners, Salesforce lead developer and the solutions architect to lead the development of the Salesforce solution for Worley.
Key Responsibilities :
- Responsible for the development and configuration of Salesforce for building solution enhancements.
- Understand the business use cases and work with other Salesforce Developers to build customized and out-of-the-box solutions adhering to Salesforce best practices and follow coding practice set in the org.
- Responsible for managing all aspects of Salesforce configuration and customization including functional and technical documentation, testing, implementation of applications, and 3rd party integrations.
- Demonstrates high business and technical acumen while also understanding Salesforce product capabilities/configurations and has a proven record of success directing efforts in the following areas: Working knowledge and practical application of Lightning framework, Visualforce, APEX programming, Force.com APIs, and Web Services.
- Implementing Salesforce applications and building custom solutions.
- Organizing and managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Functional and technical discussions to identify and prioritize customer needs.
- Configuring products/tools to meet the specific needs of a client/business.
- Understanding how Salesforce or other technology-enabled solutions can help the needs of large organizations.
- Firm knowledge of Sales Cloud, Marketing Automation, Partner Relationship Management, Case Management, and Customer Relationship Management.
- Collaborating with team members across different groups to solve a common problem.
- Understanding of software architectures, specifically Salesforce, and what technology capabilities are available across multiple delivery platforms, including mobile, web, and cloud.
To succeed in the Salesforce Developer role, you will need to manage all aspects of Salesforce configuration and customization including functional and technical documentation, testing, implementation of applications, and 3rd party integrations.
Key Requirements :
- Bachelor Degree in relevant/related field.
- Writing SOQL, SOSL and APEX Code, Lightning components, and knowledge of Visualforce Controllers.
- Developing Workflows utilizing Process Builder and customer-facing user interfaces.
- Developing on the Force.com platform and its applications.
- Working experience with Database software and Platform as a Service solutions.
- Designing and configuring security/sharing rules, permission sets, field-level security, record-level security, and roles and profiles.
- Creating POCs based on business use cases and prioritized requirements.
- Demonstrating the capabilities of a Salesforce application, the possibilities and the limitations.
- Comfortable working with CI-CD tools such as : Salesforce DX, JIRA, Bit Bucket, dockers.
- Operated as a Salesforce developer in some capacity.
- Certification(s) Preferred: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Sales/Service Consultant, Salesforce Certified Community Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.
