Responsibilities:

The purpose of this role is to support delivery of successful projects and programs by either:

• Working with the Worley global mining team, focused on Front End solutions and support of Worley’s Engineering Projects around the World.
• Providing technical and consulting services to mining Tier 1 and 2 clients and act as a QP (NI43-101 and JORC compliant studies) when required.
• Services will be focused but not limited to:
• Provide geotechnical input for scoping and feasibility studies
• Conduct geotechnical investigations and numerical modelling
• Assist our principal engineers on project work, and take the lead on occasion
• Ensure compliance with site and statutory standards
• Manage projects and process safety improvements
• Assist mining engineers with mining method selection, mine planning and optimisation, and peer review
• Due diligence and technical audits
• Leading and / or delivering technical and engineering work on PEA, PFS, and FS technical studies.
• Supporting and working on technical and engineering execution of mining projects.
• Providing input into Business Development strategy and maintain/ expand professional network.
• Site visits and work on sites as required
